Role of IDL Academy
IDL Academy is a free coordination and advisory portal, not a degree-awarding institution. The participating university controls admission, curricula, equivalency, assessment, credit recognition and graduation. External providers may issue their own completion records, which are not university degrees.
Catalog and academic information
Reference entries are clearly distinguished from verified listings and published curricula. No listing guarantees admission, course availability, credit transfer, professional licensure or recognition by another institution or country. Review provider terms and the university-approved pathway before registering or paying.
Sponsorship
Sponsorship is not guaranteed. Commitments are coordinated in the portal, but payments and refunds occur directly between sponsor and provider. IDL Academy does not receive, hold, route or distribute those funds. Sponsorship creates no authority over academic decisions.
Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate information, protect your login credentials and respect the privacy of others. Do not upload malicious files, impersonate university staff or misrepresent course completion. Account access may be restricted after an administrative review. University staff must be authorized by their institution before taking academic actions.
Changes and continuity
Providers may change courses, fees or access conditions. Curriculum versions and existing student records are preserved in the portal, but replacement learning and formal continuation arrangements require the responsible university decision. The portal does not promise uninterrupted access to third-party services.
